Born in Hong Kong, Bubi draws inspiration from her vibrant hometown, as well as from her childhood memories, dreams, and the innocence of youth. She is deeply influenced by the diverse cultures and rich artistic heritage of Asia, which is evident in the intricate details and symbolism present in her work.

A World of Whimsy and Wonder

Bubi’s artistic universe is populated by endearing characters, often anthropomorphized creatures that embody a sense of wonder, curiosity, and playfulness. Through these characters, she invites the viewer to explore their own imagination and connect with their inner child. These creations possess a universal appeal, transcending cultural boundaries and resonating with audiences of all ages.

The recurring themes in Bubi’s work include the celebration of friendship, the power of imagination, and the beauty of nature. She believes that art should uplift the spirit, ignite the imagination, and serve as a reminder of the joy and magic that exists in our everyday lives.

A Multifaceted Approach to Art

Bubi’s artistic process is fluid and versatile, often experimenting with various mediums and techniques to bring her enchanting world to life. Her illustrations are marked by delicate linework and a soft, muted color palette, instilling a sense of nostalgia and warmth.
